Well I’ve moved around a bit and in *most* states owning a gun is common and simple. I’ve owned a .38 snubnose, .32 automatic, a 12 gauge pump, and a 30-30 lever action rifle straight out of the wild west. I’ve shot lots of others, 9mm, .357, an M1, etc.
It makes me sick how complicated it is in some places to legally own or carry a gun. All the fucking criminals have them (i.e. the people you might have to kill, er “defend” yourself against) because they don’t give a shit about being legal. When I was in Arkansas all you had to do was make sure it was in plain sight. 30 day background check, no license. I tell you what, no one fucks with you down there because its highly unlikely you *don’t* have a gun that you aren’t afraid (can’t wait) to use
